Candidate will provide Program Management support services to an aerospace client to include development projects and operational production programs:
- Manages contract performance for various projects and programs to achieve business objectives
- Serves as the customer advocate and ensures effective program management processes, schedule, cost, risk, and change management
- Ensures customer requirements are meet and creates/maintains the program charter, baseline plan, and other program management components
- Ensures cost basis and pricing is correct by evaluating resource requirements and performance risk analysis
- Responsible for integrated program schedules, data integration, tracking of financial and quality performance and implementation of corrective action plans
- Addresses critical issues on complex programs and leads the team to develop action plans to improve performance
- Leads the development of program plans covering mature and new products, software and electronics
- Ensures timely responses to customer requests while fostering a positive relationship and customer experience in balance with company needs
- Uses communication skills to inform customers and negotiate positive outcomes on strategic and tactical business matters, as well as influencing skills to ensure project plans and objectives are meet
This work will be done on-site in Hauppauge, New York and will require some domestic travel as well as potential international travel.

About You: You have 10+ years of experience with program management
- Bachelors Degree in Aerospace related fields, Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or other related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
- Experience with Aerospace certification authorities including FAA, EASA, CAA or equivalent preferred
- Proficient in the use of business applications software including Microsoft Office and the ability to use specialized project management and financial applications
- Excelled at analyzing and interpreting complex policies, contractual language, and financial reports
