Job Title: Field Service Technician (Automated Machinery)
Location: Remote + Travel (appx 75% scheduled, eg. 2 weeks traveling, 1 week off)

Position Overview:
The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our machines and systems. This position involves testing, installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment, providing our clients with the highest level of technical support and customer service.
Reports to: Service Manager
Key Responsibilities:
· Test new machines and systems to ensure proper functionality.
· Install machinery and train clients on its use - automated machinery and equipment used by horticultural or agricultural production facilities/ crop production.
· Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks at client locations, which is greenhouse facility or outdoor agricultural facility.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly.
· Modify machines and systems as needed.
· Communicate insights and feedback to relevant departments.
· Serve as a technical expert and problem-solver for clients.
· Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
· Participate in work meetings and toolbox meetings.
· Adhere to quality, health, safety, and environmental procedures and regulations.
· Act as a trouble-shooting coordinator, managing and documenting service calls and assisting clients with technical issues.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Completed vocational training (AAS level) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Software, Automation, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in roles such as mechanic, service engineer, commissioning engineer, or installation technician repairing automated machinery.
- Proficiency in both Spanish and English preferred, but not required.
- Strong interest in technology and innovative techniques, including AI, robotics, and vision systems.
- Willingness to travel, including potential international travel (Canada, Mexico, Holland).

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
