- Track and determine the eligibility of employees for the benefit plans including health insurance, life insurance, and 401K retirement plan.
- Provide assistance with supplemental plans and update all benefits data in HR system/ carrier portals.
- Prepare benfits packages for orientation
- Process benefits applications for new hires, life event changes and terminations.
- Assist the HR manager in the coordination of open enrollment with benefit carriers and provide assistance to employees as necessary.
- Monitor insurance provider billing for accuracy in coordination with accounting. Resolve any issues with benefit carriers.
- Prepares census data reports for benefit carriers.
- Generate reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of Associate of Applied Science in Business Administation, Human Resources, Education or another relative program.
- Two years of experience in Human Resource, Administrative Manager or a similar lead role preferred.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with confidentiality.
- Above average critical thinking skills, communication, and analytical skills.
