Job Summary
As a Data Processing Specialist I within the National Accounts Department, you will provide essential support in data management and collection, contributing to the department's success through accurate and organized data handling. Reporting directly to the Data Analyst for National Accounts, your primary responsibilities will focus on data collection, management, and maintenance to support the department's operational needs and contribute to informed decision-making.
Essential Functions

Data Collection and Management: Gather data from diverse sources, ensuring prompt and accurate entry into our systems. Organize and maintain datasets to facilitate easy access and retrieval for analysis and reporting.

Data Verification and Quality Assurance: Conduct regular checks to verify data accuracy and completeness. Implement processes for data quality assurance to promptly address any discrepancies or errors.

Data Entry and Maintenance: Input data into databases and spreadsheets with precision. Update and maintain records to reflect changes or updates accurately.

Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources and entry procedures. Keep accurate records of data-related activities for traceability and accountability.

Assistance in Data-Related Tasks: Support the Data Analyst and other department leaders in gathering and organizing data for various tasks and projects. Assist National Accounts in generating reports and summaries based on collected data.

Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance to National Accounts, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and organizing files related to data management and other projects.

Collaboration with Other Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing data insights and providing support as needed. Participate in cross-departmental projects and assist in non-data-related tasks for other teams.

New Hire Training: Facilitate training sessions for new hires, ensuring they are proficient in data collection, entry procedures, and quality assurance processes. Provide ongoing support and guidance to integrate new team members effectively.

Education and Experience

High School graduation or equivalent is required.

Have obtained, or are in the process of obtaining, further education in Business, IT, or Data related fields.

Requires zero to one year of general work experience.

Previous experience in collecting and organizing data from various sources, learning data entry and management techniques (preferred).

Previous participation in data quality checks and record maintenance (preferred).

Exposure to supporting administrative tasks related to data management, documentation, and record-keeping practices (preferred).
