NATURE OF THE WORK
- Candidate will work in a 8 to 15 person Fabrication team that will produce steel components for Processing, Storage, Receiving and Load-Out Facilities for the Seed and Grain Industries.

- The typical work schedule is based on a Monday thru Friday schedule with possible overtime on weekends.

- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compliance with all Company Safety, Substance Abuse and work rules, policies and procedures.
- Satisfactorily complete all Government, Customer and Company required safety orientation and training classes, including OSHA 10 Training Course.
- Able to work with others as a team, maintaining a positive attitude and following oral, written (work orders) and graphical instructions, such as shop drawings.
- Complete all work assignments to a high level of quality.
- Based on knowledge level and experience any combination of the following:
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Unloading and loading of OTR trucks.
- Rigging and operator signaling.
- Measuring and layout of the work.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment using various hand and power tools.
- Move machinery and equipment using carts, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
- Operate automated and semi-automated plasma and oxy-fuel burning equipment.
- Operate forming equipment such as hydraulic press brakes and sheet benders.
- Operate structural saws and ironworker.
- Fitting and welding structural shapes, plate and sheet.
- Cleaning and painting of steel components.
- Other tasks as necessary to complete the work.
KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES / SKILLSEDUCATIONOTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Good practical knowledge of standard construction measuring, hand and power tools.
- Basic knowledge of rigging equipment and techniques.
- General knowledge of construction equipment such as cranes, skid loaders, forklifts, man-lifts, compressors, generators, etc.
- Candidates to provide hand tools listed on the attached sheet.
- Candidates will be required to wear appropriate clothing as shown on the attached sheet.
- Candidates should be able to read and understand construction drawings and procedures.
- Compare and see differences in the size, shape, and form of lines, figures, and objects.
- Physical requirements are as follows:
- Good vision (either naturally or with correction)
- Good hand and eye coordination with full use hands, arms, and fingers.
- Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding
- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand and/or work at heights as required.
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Meet or exceed the physical requirements stated below:
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Valid State Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Verifiable Government required documentation.
- Pass Company required drug test.
- Welding certifications a plus.
- Current Safety training certifications a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
