Job Summary: As a Staffing Coordinator at TPI Staffing Service, you will play a crucial role in sourcing, screening, and selecting candidates across various positions for our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that we match the right talent with the specific needs of our clients, maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency throughout the recruitment process.
Essential Functions:
- Candidate Sourcing and Screening: Identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for clerical, technical, general labor, administrative, and management roles within our client base.
- Testing and Evaluation: Administer relevant assessments and tests to assess candidates' skills and suitability for specific job assignments.
- Background and Reference Checks: Conduct thorough background investigations including prior employment references and academic transcripts to verify candidate qualifications and suitability.
- Drug Testing: Facilitate drug testing procedures as required by clients and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Document Management: Maintain accurate and updated records of employee applications, job orders, and other pertinent documentation.
- Client Communication: Regularly communicate with clients to understand their staffing needs and ensure client satisfaction with placed candidates.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by employees or clients promptly and professionally.
- New Customer Engagement: Handle inquiries from new customers, provide information about our services, and assist in preparing necessary documentation.
- Job Satisfaction Monitoring: Proactively check in with both clients and employees to assess job satisfaction and address any potential issues.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support including file management and data entry tasks.
- Interpret and enforce company HR policies and procedures as they pertain to temporary employees.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless coordination of recruitment efforts.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in office administration or customer service roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and associates.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
