The Community Service Center of Morgan County is seeking a Director of Operations to provide day-to-day support of staff, programs, volunteers, budget, and the overall mission of the organization. Under the umbrella of the Community Service Center of Morgan County, WellSpring is a non-profit shelter that provides housing and services to families experiencing homelessness, while also providing supportive services to permanent supportive housing for HopeSpring apartments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing Staff
HMIS administration
Financial planning/budget maintenance
Collaborate with Executive Director and Board of Directors
Various reports to funding/giving agencies
Overseeing policies and procedures to support the successful operation of a family shelter
Effectively communicate the organization’s mission
Required Qualifications:
Employment Eligibility Verification, including background screening
Ability to multi-task, apply critical thinking skills, and make difficult decisions.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Working knowledge or ability to learn HMIS system
Ability to act quickly in crisis situations
Proven ability to work independently
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Ability to climb stairs
A bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred or 5-10 years of experience in non-profit management.
Salary range: $55,000 to $60,000
