Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse - Operating Room to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure that all patients receive the best possible care.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations, including catheterization and mammography, as needed.
- Utilize behavioral health skills to support patients with developmental disabilities.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient care while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of acute care and ICU principles.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay current with the latest ICD-9 coding standards.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.
Skills:
- Proficiency in ophthalmology and the ability to care for patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Experience in acute care and ICU settings.
- Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques, including catheterization and mammography.
- Ability to work with patients with developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs.
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding standards and the ability to apply them accurately.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety.

Pay: $77.00 - $78.00 per hour
