We are a leading manufacturer of RF equipment for the aerospace industry and we are looking for a Customer Support Coordinator to join our team.
The Customer Support Coordinator ensures customer inquiries and purchase orders for spare/replacement parts are expeditiously handled. Provides shipment pricing, scheduling, releases of factory orders, supporting documentation and other related activities of an administrative nature.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides timely order entry, release of manufactured parts, purchase of required parts, factory order assignments, production control and schedule
- Requisitions parts and prepares factory release forms
- Communicates with customers by phone and email to understand their needs and provide order status
- Inputs and monitors computer-based data for order processing and sales orders
- Provides delivery schedule and pricing
- Assist with customer price quotations and responses to RFP’s (request for proposals)
- Follows up with customers on quotations provided
- Prepares status reports on spares RFP’s and factory orders
- Provides documents for all matters pertaining to letters of credit and new customers to accounting
- Works closely with Accounts Receivable for establishing customer accounts and accepting orders
- Preparation of import/export documentation; monitors to ensure correct forms & procedures are used
- Secures carriers, rates, forwarding agents, and custom brokers for most efficient handling of assigned products
- Prepares shipping documents and follow-up; receives, audits, and distributes shipping manifests
- Identifies foreign orders requiring commission memos
- Performs routine follow-up and checks progress of orders received
- Provide and assist with invoicing where needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Two to four (2-4) years of experience in Customer Support either production control, scheduling, customer support/service or a project support role
- Excellent customer service & sales skills, verbal & written communication skills and exceptional organizational & people skills
- Adapts to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
