Duties:
- Management level nursing position that maintains direct contact with patients and integration with patient care
- Responsible for coordinating, training, scheduling, and team development among the nursing staff
- Manages the continuing education of the nursing staff
- Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities
- Conduct regular documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and monitor care plans for patients, ensuring individualized and holistic care
- Ensure adherence to resident rights and promote a culture of respect and dignity
- Maintains an ongoing quality assurance program
- Assists in planning the nursing services portion of resident discharge plans
- Leads others through actions consistent with and serve our culture
- Participates in facility surveys by government agencies
Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility
- 2 year of Director of Nursing (DON)/ long-term care facility experience
- Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
- Able to handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

Pay: $81,287.38 - $97,894.48 per year
