Position Overview:
The Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in our project development process, demonstrating adeptness in the design and analysis of structures using a range of materials, including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. The Structural Engineer will be instrumental in managing large and complex projects, ensuring our architectural visions come to life with structural integrity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural design and analysis for diverse building projects, utilizing a variety of materials.
- Generate detailed drawings, structural calculations, and specifications.
- Conduct site investigations to accurately document existing conditions.
- Coordination with team members and other trades.
- Support team in budgeting and designing economical and innovative structures.
- Maintain active engagement with professional organizations to stay ahead of industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; a Master’s Degree is a plus.
- P.E. license mandatory; additional certifications like S.E. or C in Massachusetts preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly with multifamily and mixed-use. Experience with historic buildings is advantageous.
- Proficient in computer analysis software (e.g., BIM, STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000) and REVIT.
- Demonstrates commitment to innovation, integrity, and ethical practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with a disposition for critical thinking, problem-solving, and versatility.
What We Offer:
- A full-time role with a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $135,000 per year.
