Primarily focusing on post-closing activities, funding procedures, and quality control reviews for all residential loans processed by the department. Involves working closely with Loan Officers and other team members to ensure the smooth and efficient processing of loans, some of which will be sold into the secondary market. This position is detail-oriented with a strong understanding of mortgage procedures and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
1) Monitor and Clear Purchase Conditions:
· Conduct regular audits of secondary loans post-closing to identify and clear purchase conditions promptly.
· Ensure all conditions are met in accordance with investor guidelines and regulatory requirements.
2) Maintain Fundings for Loans:
· Oversee the funding process for all loans, ensuring timely delivery of funds to borrowers and third parties.
· Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to resolve any funding-related issues or delays.
3) Handle Final Loan Documents:
· Manage the finalization of loan documents, including tracking recordables and ensuring completeness and accuracy.
· Facilitate the recording and filing of necessary documents in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
4) Assist with Monthly Quality Control Tracking:
· Support the quality control process by assisting in the tracking and reporting of monthly quality control metrics.
· Collaborate with team members to address any quality control issues or deficiencies identified.
5) Loan Denials and Adverse Action Notices:
· Notify customers of loan officer decisions regarding loan denials and prepare Adverse Action Notices as required by regulatory guidelines.
· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in the handling of loan denials and adverse actions.
6) Review Loan Documents for Compliance:
· Thoroughly review consumer and commercial loan documents to ensure compliance with bank policy, state/federal regulations, and legal requirements.
· Identify and address any discrepancies or non-compliance issues in a timely manner.
7) Work Exception Item Reports
· Review and address exception item reports for loan officers, resolving any outstanding issues or discrepancies promptly.
· Communicate effectively with loan officers and other team members to ensure resolution of exception items.
8) Customer Assistance and Service:
· Assist loan officers in contacting customers for past-due loans and provide support in addressing customer inquiries or concerns.
· Confirm appointments for loan officers and greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing banking assistance as needed. This includes assisting in answering lobby phones.
· Represent the company at events, fostering positive relationships with clients and promoting the company’s services.
9) Initiative and Attention to Detail:
· Demonstrate strong initiative and attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in loan processing and documents.
· Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and adherence to deadlines.
10) Exceptional Customer Service:
· Provide exceptional customer service at all stages of the loan process, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor in interactions with customers and colleagues.
