General Overview:
Full time Receptionist for a busy Plastic Surgery Practice and Medical Spa. Applicants must provide a friendly, efficient, exceptional patient experience when patients have any contact with the practice (virtual, phone or in person). Responsible for greeting patients, checking patients in/out, answering telephones, maintaining patient files & distributing daily correspondence. This position requires an understanding of all products, non-surgical and surgical services available and promotes all crossover opportunities within the practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Previous experience in healthcare, surgical and medical spa setting preferred. The position requires an organized, self-motivated individual with a sense of urgency who is capable of working independently and prioritizing work to meet deadlines. This is a hands-on position.
- Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with a variety of health care professionals, patients, and office personnel.
- Ability to operate computer and various software packages.
- Ability to operate equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, and other common office equipment.
- Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills to handle emergency issues.
Education/Experience:
This level of knowledge is normally acquired with the completion of an Associate Degree and 2-4 years of related work experience, or the equivalent work experience without education.
