Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric nursing care to patients in a variety of settings
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Conduct health coaching and education for patients and their families
- Utilize electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks, to document patient care and treatment plans
- Participate in utilization review processes to ensure appropriate and efficient use of healthcare resources
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate patient responses
- Proficient in utilizing medical imaging technology for diagnostic purposes
- Familiarity with toddler care and the unique challenges associated with this age group
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate medical records
