Summary
Provides support to the Business Development department by creating, managing, and delivering contract proposals. The Proposal Specialist builds relationships with the various departments needed for the proper creation of competitive proposals for contracts.

- Read RFPs and note discrepancies, omissions, or vague instructions to create clarifying questions to RFP issuers.
- Brainstorm with the team to develop proposal win-themes and strategies to boost win rates.
- Create proposals using FHC’s style guide according to RFP requirements and populate with material from FHC’s boilerplate, relevant past proposals, and write compellingly new content as needed.
- Complete and maintain proposal documents, working drafts, and requested forms.
- Collaborate with SMEs and Marketing to express ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proofread material prepared by other writers or SMEs. Participate in internal reviews.
- Review proposals for compliance with RFP requirements.
- Assist in creation of PowerPoint presentations as needed.
