Job Responsibilities:
- Follow daily lesson plans and learning activities for students based on the Creative Curriculum, Second Step, and Michael Haggerty.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction in the form of discussion, direct teaching, hands-on learning, demonstrations, and independent practice using a variety of methods.
- Differentiate lessons when needed to give all students access to the curriculum regardless of ability, instructional level, English proficiency, or level of interest in the subject.
- Actively observe, monitor, and report students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom by modeling expected behavior and standards and promoting positive interactions.
- The Ability to Co-teach and share responsibilities.
- Communicate with parents daily in a professional and caring manner.
- Helping children with their daily needs, e.g. ( serving lunch and snacks, diaper changing, potty training, helping them to sleep, etc....…)
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing duties to ensure a healthy environment for the children.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 Year Teaching Experience.
- 1 Year of Childcare Experience.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Comfort in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Love for the children
- Attention to detail
Preferred:
- Associates/Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or other related fields.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:45 a.m. - 5:45 p.m.
Hourly rate: Starting pay $14 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and education.
