Job Summary:

Duties:
- Answering inquiries, and directing phone calls
- Utilize Nextech EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
- Coordinate medical scheduling to ensure timely patient visits and efficient use of healthcare providers' time
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy
- Assist with medical billing tasks and insurance verification processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate smooth patient schedules
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management
Skills:
- Proficiency in medical terminology specific to the healthcare industry
- Experience with EMR systems for medical record management
- Knowledge of urgent care appointments and consults
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to operate phone systems effectively for appointment scheduling and patient communication
- Strong organizational skills to manage medical scheduling efficiently
