IT Software Developer
ALSPI is a high-tech manufacturing company with over 220 employees, operating for 43 years, near Oxford, Alabama. We are seeking a Software Developer to support our business, by developing and customizing Epicor’s Kinetic application. As a Developer, you will play an instrumental role in the efficient operation and maintenance of our Epicor ERP system, while also contributing to the development and enhancement of custom reports and functionalities. Additionally, you will provide technical support and champion best practices to deliver the best solutions.

IT Software Developer Required Technical Experience:
- Experience with Epicor / Kinetic
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with SSRS Reporting
- Experience with C# programming
IT Software Developer Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related principal or 5 years minimum experience working with information systems, process improvement, project management or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- Working in a manufacturing environment with ERP experience is needed; Epicor expertise STRONGLY preferred.
Pay Commensurate with experience.
This position is On-Site work.
To be successful as an IT Software Developer with ALSPI, you:
- Apply expert developer knowledge processes related Epicor Kinetic software.
- Have proven experience implementing and overseeing system installations, upgrades and patches.
- Collaborate with end-users and departments to gather system requirements and make necessary configurations.
- Have proven experience in development, customization, and optimization of reports and dashboards for efficiency and accuracy using Epicor reporting tools.
- Maintain and monitor the health and performance of the Epicor ERP system.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to best determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Develop and guide software system testing and validation procedures.
- Confer with others to design systems and obtain project information on limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Experience writing clean, concise, scalable, and sustainable codes.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and user queries promptly.
- Thrive as an individual contributor as well as in collaborative interdependent teams.
- Have strengths in modeling best practices and maintaining deliverables.
- Build trust and effective communication at all levels within the organization.
