Biotrial, a leading provider of high-quality pharmacology services, is currently seeking a Part-time Physician to join its team in the U.S. headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
In this position, you will serve as a Principal Investigator for Phase I clinical research studies performed at our state-of-the-art Clinical Pharmacology Unit in Newark. Responsibilities include ensuring the quality and scientific integrity of studies performed, safety of the participants, quality of the medical data collected, and that studies are regulatory compliant and conducted according to Good Clinical Practices (GCPs).
This is a part-time position that must be available to work in the Newark Clinical Pharmacology Unit Monday, Tuesday and one other week day. Candidates must possess the following requirements:
- Doctoral degree (MD, DO).
- Active license to practice medicine in New Jersey.
- Current DEA license.
- Current CPR certification
- Experience providing patient care, i.e., family medicine, primary care, internal medicine, etc.
- Board certified with current certificate in specialty area.
- Ability to provide diagnostic treatment and counseling services.
- Ability to analyze situations and take effective action.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact with physicians, nurses, other staff, and study volunteers.
- Possess a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism.
Any appropriate combination of relevant education, certification(s) and/or work experience may be considered.

The company’s 60,000 sq. ft., 110-bed, state-of-the art Clinical Pharmacology Unit is in the heart of University Heights Science Park, attached to Rutgers/NJMS and the University Hospital.
