Job Title: Operations Associate
Job Description: As a School Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operations of our three school buildings. This position is temp-to-hire. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Duties:
- Support the Director of Operations to ensure a high standard of operational excellence throughout our 3 school buildings and to assist in creating whole school systems that maximize efficiency.
- Execute day-to-day and long-term school purchasing and inventory while also engaging in short-term and long-term thinking on best operational practices using data and experience.
- Assist in organizing and coordinating school events, meetings, professional development days, etc.
Facilities Management:
- Assist Director of Operations in managing school supplies, technology, furniture and equipment inventory, and facilitate procurement as needed.
- Occasionally coordinate with staff and external vendors for repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the school environment.
Financial Support:
- Assist in budget management and financial record-keeping.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1-year professional experience
- High level of attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible to a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- A positive, ‘roll up your sleeves’ attitude.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Excellent prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of technology (e.g., computers, chrome books, etc.) and the ability to provide basic IT support to students and teachers.
- Solution-oriented, passionate problem solver.
- Great professional verbal and written communication skills to drive change across multiple stakeholders.
- Open and able to implement feedback quickly.
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
