The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will provide oversight and support for Revenue Cycle integrity and workflow processes using data analytics. The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will assure all established billing, systems, and process requirements have been met in order to ensure timely and optimal reimbursement.
Through the analysis of key performance indicator data, the Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will work to improve Revenue Cycle production and efficiency. The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will recommend changes that will positively impact the Revenue Cycle and help the Hospital operate according to industry benchmarks and meet A/R performance goals and productivity.
The ideal Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst is required to have 4 years of experience exhibiting advance performance in physician and hospital billing revenue cycle. The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst will ensure optimal billing methods that meet with billing compliance standards with knowledge of State and Federal billing regulations and guidelines.
The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst should be familiar with System Administrator functions for configuration of billing systems and vendor management. The Hospital Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst should have advanced knowledge of third-party insurance, insurance plan types, Government Programs (Medicare, CPT, ICD Coding/Reimbursement, Medicare F&A, Medicaid and TriCare programs), revenue cycle systems; MediTech; Data analytics, system performance and or accounting; experience with root-cause analysis and lean processes; and medical terminology skills.
