The person filling this position owns responsibility for assisting the property manager of a community achieve the board’s goals and objectives. The assistant manager is responsible for handling tasks delegated to them by the property manager and Board of Directors.
General Responsibilities
Acquire and maintain current knowledge of policies and procedures of the association.
Understand the goals of the community, as defined by the board, and assist the property manager in developing strategies, policies and procedures to achieve the goals.
Understand, use and contribute to the company’s policies, procedures, practices and programs that are available to support the continuous improvement of property management at a community.
Assist the manager in planning, noticing and conducting elections, board meetings, annual meetings and committee meetings.
Assist in the day to day administration of the community including, but not limited to:
o Maintenance of the association's files and records
o Administer rules and regulations
o Mailings and Email Blasts
o Unit Owner Inquiries and Problems
o Board Member Inquiries and Problems
o Managing Association Website
o Managing work order process, including following up
Assist in the financial management of the community, including but not limited to:
o General oversight of accounting practices and financial statements
o Monitor and verify vendor invoices
o Review and assist owners in making payments
Ensure that the maintenance and cleaning of community facilities is being performed to the required specifications.
Assist the manager in identifying and analyzing alternative solutions to problems that may emerge.
Respond professionally to inquiries from the board, residents and others.
Supervision of staff members as delegated by the Manager.
COMPENSATION UP TO $29.50/HOUR DOE
