**Job Summary:** We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in medical administrative tasks, patient care, and various medical procedures in a hospital setting, including Level I Trauma Center and Emergency Medicine. **Responsibilities:** - Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments - Perform medical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and injections - Maintain patient medical records accurately and confidentially - Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups - Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on compassion and professionalism - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care **Skills:** - Proficient in medical administrative support tasks - Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology - Experience working in a hospital or Level I Trauma Center is preferred - Familiarity with Hospital Medicine, Operating Room (OR) procedures, and Emergency Medicine protocols - Ability to provide excellent patient care across diverse populations including geriatrics - Competency in using electronic health record systems for documentation - Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members Join our dynamic healthcare environment where you can utilize your skills to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
