Chemist
Responsibilities

Develop new and and improved products, technologies, and programs for Chem-Trend worldwide to meet customer demands in a rapid and timely manner.

Provide technical support to all company departments including Sales, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Quality Control.

Support the Sales team by attending product trials at customer sites.

Assist manufacturing operations in the development and implementation of new or modified production methods to improve quality and increase manufacturing consistency.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, polymer science, or related field; Master's degree in chemistry or related field, a plus.

2+ years of experience, including formulation.
- Working knowledge of surface chemistry, paints, inks, adhesives, or silicone chemistry preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software, electronic literature research and scientific software.

Strong analytical, organization, decision-making, and communication skills.
