Join the Macquarie Asset Management Equities and Multi-Assets business in efforts focused on global sustainable investing. This role will provide research to help identify companies that are making a positive impact through their products, services and/or actions and help to develop tools to assess a company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks.

What role will you play?
As a Sustainability Analyst, you will assist in the development and maintenance of internal measurements to help identify and assess the impact of public securities in contributions to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, the establishment and achievement of climate mitigation targets, and the Environmental, Social, and Governance risks that companies face. There will also be the need to support Macquarie Asset Management’s active ownership policies through engagement with portfolio companies. You will have the opportunity to contribute to thought leadership on topical Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) issues and conduct research on candidates for inclusion in select Macquarie Asset Management portfolios.
What you offer
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years’ experience with a demonstrated interest in sustainable investing
- Strong quantitative skills with the ability to conduct independent research and construct analytical models
- Familiarity with data visualization software, ESG data providers, and investment research platforms is an asset.
- Intellectual curiosity to continuously add to subject expertise in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
