We are looking for a Senior Designer with 5+ years of experience who is knowledgeable in all aspects of the design process from ideation to implementation guiding clients to innovative and successful outcomes. As a leader, you will work closely with the clients, lead projects as a strong team member and mentor designers as part of the process. Responsibilities of an SR. INTERIOR DESIGNER, include but are not limited to:
Responsible for leading all phases of the design process with a high level of proficiency, expertise, and creativity while adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design.
Develop concepts and design all aspects of a project and/or components of a project from the architectural documents to the FFE.
Leads interior design efforts and project teams including design direction and client engagement throughout the life of the project.
Oversee and/or generate construction documents, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the project contract.
Knowledgable in project jurisdiction building codes and submitting drawings to county for building permit process.
Demonstrates strong and effective communication and direction which inspires high team performance and design ideas.
Mentors junior staff.
Accountable for effective coordination with clients, partners, and consultants throughout the entire project.
Understand aspects of construction build projects to coordinate and collaborate with contractors.
