Job Summary:
Join the largest U.S. operator of retail laundromats as a Junior Data Analyst, playing a crucial role in optimizing operations across over 80 locations in New York, New England, and several Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern states. This role, based in the New York City metropolitan area, offers a combination of remote and 4 days a week in-office work opportunities, reporting directly to the company's VP of Corporate Operations.

Responsibilities:
Data Management
- Update and maintain master data files and various data sources on a regular schedule.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through routine checks and updates.
- Archive and organize historical data files for easy retrieval.
Report Generation
- Generate and distribute regular reports, including sales, inventory, productivity, and performance metrics.
- Develop and enhance dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators.
- Support the creation of new reports as needed by different departments.
Ad-hoc Analysis
- Handle ad-hoc requests for data analysis and report creation to support business needs.
- Conduct specific analyses related to pricing, marketing, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with various data-driven projects and initiatives as required.
Support and Maintenace
- Provide field support for data-related issues and ensure timely resolution of requests.
- Maintain and update data sources related to online reviews and other external data feeds.
- Assist with the maintenance of data visualization tools and platforms, such as Tableau.
Collaboration and Training
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Train team members on data tools and best practices as necessary.
- Communicate with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless data integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data management and report generation tools.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel - Organizing data, Lookups, Conditional Ifs, and Pivot Tables.
- Experience with Tableau and AWS is a plus.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and VBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
