Hellas Construction, Inc., The #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our Track Division. Qualified candidates must possess either a Construction Science or Civil Engineering degree.Come be a part of an amazing organization shaping the way Sports Fields and Tracks are built.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee 80-120 projects annually, taking full ownership of the Project Profit and Loss. Your responsibilities include meticulous planning and successful execution, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Managing multiple projects from award to close-out, you'll collaborate seamlessly with internal Superintendents and Foremen to ensure project requirements are met. Maintain and update the Master Track Schedule regularly, coordinating with Project Managers across time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- This division is responsible for projects with quick turnarounds. Most project duration range from two to six weeks.
- Develop and update the Master Track Schedule several times a week, ensuring accurate and timely project completion.
- Publish construction plans and Work Orders, order materials in advance, and coordinate with internal teams for seamless project execution.
- Evaluate resource utilization, assess changed conditions, and actively record progress through accurate schedule updates.
- Prepare Weekly Job Reports (WJRs) and conduct project-level audits for documentation and efficiency improvement.
- Invoice monthly, prepare close-out documentation, and manage monthly pay estimates.
- Conduct monthly Work In Process (WIP) reviews and monitor overall Track Surfacing performance data.
- Review warranty issues, confirm validity, and prepare warranty reports for senior Leadership Team approval.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of project management experience in construction, with a Construction Management degree (Civil Engineering is a plus).
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and ability to learn other functional software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface positively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
