Job Summary:
To fuel our growth, we are looking to supplement our team with a new opportunity for a Carrier Program Administrator on our Platform Operations Team, who strives to deliver “Best in class” customer service (to both internal and external clients), while maximizing efficiencies to meet the company’s goals and objectives. The position requires the use of good judgment, analytical reasoning, robust interpersonal communication, and sound problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
In coordination with Corporate Regulatory Affairs team, serve as the main point of contact for administrative functions within the platform related to insurance company and broker/wholesaler appointments.
Track assigned appointments with each insurance company and broker/wholesaler. Maintain a log of all agency codes and subcodes with each insurance company partner and communicate updates to applicable teams.
Maintain log for platform IVANS Y mailboxes and track Download configuration.
Maintain day-to-day regulatory documents in an organized and timely fashion at the direction of the team.
Grant access to Employees for insurance company portals when required and perform monthly audits to ensure appropriate user terminations.
Rapidly generate reports related to appointments as requested.
Actively participate and contribute in projects to transfer appointments and commission schedules for agency partner integrations and acquisitions under the direction of respective Department Leaders. Assist with transfers from agency to agency ensuring that appointments and commission schedules are re-assigned correctly and promptly.
Provides platform partners with hands-on, one-on-one guidance and assistance in securing new carrier appointments in accordance with respective department leadership and regulatory affairs.
Provide overall agent and carrier support and assistance through written and oral communications.
Develop and sustain effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including team members, virtually and in-person.
Actively participate with Management, collaborate, and share recommendations for improvements to processes, procedures, and identify and implement the systems to best manage these appointments.
Maintains current knowledge of team responsibilities and is cognizant of the team’s function by supporting the success of the team through effective and accurate administrative assistance
Maintain high level of confidentiality when working with proprietary and sensitive data.
Resolves limited and non-routine problems as required
