Fox River Animal Hospital is a small, independently owned and operated veterinary clinic. We've been caring for the dogs and cats of the Fox Valley since 2001. Duties:
- Perform job duties allowed to CVT's by the state of Wisconsin
- Collect and analyze laboratory samples, such as blood and urine using in-house lab equipment
- Induce, monitor and recover pets from anesthesia under the direction of DVM
- Position for and take digital radiographs
- Perform dental cleanings and dental radiographs
- All aspects of client communication from wellness appointments surgical discharge and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and procedures
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician is preferred but we are willing to mentor a motivated new graduate
- Proficiency in and willingness to adhere to low-stress and cat friendly practices
Requirements:
- Must be a certified veterinary technician
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written including strong typing skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
We are looking for a part-time CVT to join our team. We are open to different scheduling options to find something that works for our team as well as our new team member. Our doctor is very laid back and easy to work with and our team is welcoming and open to new ideas.
