Residential Staff Assistant for Short-term Youth Program, June 25-28, 2024
Dates: June 25 to June 28 (All hours)
Schedule:
- June 25: All Staff Training (6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)
- June 26 – June 28, 2024: The Congress of Future Medical Leaders (All Hours - Accommodation Provided / Staff must have own transportation)

Description:
The hiring organization The National Leadership Academies hosts education events for high-achieving teenagers. We are seeking qualified applicants for this event's Resident Staff Assistants role. : Demonstrate knowledge and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences. Provide guidance and support to students throughout the event. Ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. Encourage positive interactions and relationship-building. Engage in training and development sessions provided by TNLA staff. Represent TNLA and the Congress of Future Medical Leaders positively and professionally. By fulfilling these responsibilities, RSAs will play a crucial role in ensuring a successful and impactful experience for all students attending the Congress of Future Medical Leaders.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Airport greeting and departure
- Train station greeting and departure
- Address any questions or concerns students and parents may have by all modes of communication
- Escort students to and from the dining hall and the event center
- Register students and confirm all required paperwork has been completed
- Check students into and out of their assigned rooms
- Supervise students during off-program hours
- Be available during overnight hours if students have unexpected needs, become ill, etc.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be available from 6 pm to 8 pm on June 25 for staff training and to be on call ALL HOURS from June 26 through June 28
- RSA employees are required to sleep overnight at the facility in their own rooms, which will be provided at the hiring organization’s expense
- Applicants must be at least 19 years of age and comply with a mandatory background check.
- Applicants must have a reliable transportation method
- Prior experience in program management, resident assistance, youth leadership programs, high school education, or camp counseling is strongly preferred.
