We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team to assist our new associate.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our dental professionals in providing exceptional oral healthcare services to patients. Your primary responsibilities will include chairside assistance during dental procedures, performing administrative tasks, maintaining equipment and supplies, disinfecting treatment rooms, and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a full time OR part time dental assistant.
Hours are Monday 7:30 - 5:00, Tuesday 7:30-5:00, Wednesday 9:30- 7:00 & Thurs 7:30-5:00
The right applicant should have a valid x-ray license and experience, but willing to train the right person.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments
- Take dental x-rays
- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Maintain accurate patient records
Requirements:
- Anatomy knowledge
- Patient assessment skills
- Experience with CAD software
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft software beneficial
- Ability to take vital signs accurately
- Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred
- Ability to schedule and walk out patients
