This person will be responsible for performing inspection in-process products on company processes and customer specifications. They will also verify that quality procedures are followed and maintain proper documentation on the production floor. The ideal candidate will be looking for a solid company where he/she can establish long-term employment that will offer growth and opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Verify that established quality and production processes are being followed to provide defect free components and help administer corrective action when it is found that the processes are not being followed.
- Analyze all procedures, inspection techniques, and inspection equipment for process improvements.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to all functional areas regarding quality system measurements and procedures.
- Monitor SPC collection software ensuring compliance to minimum quality indices.
- Log nonconformance?s into the ERP system
- Perform dimensional inspections of finished product.
- Program and Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Perform first piece inspections.
- Interact with floor personnel to establish best inspection methods.
- Other duties as assigned or as required to meet customer or business needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Able to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, indicators, precision blocks, height gages, etc.
- Mitutoyo CMM programming experience.
- Ability to maintain required work records and Quality System Documentation.
- Quality orientation and high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated competency with personal computer systems and software applications.
- Ability to maintain safe work environment.
- Discuss ballooning software experience.
- FAI package submission experience.
