Carrier Enterprise is a joint venture between Watsco, Inc. and Carrier Corporation. Carrier Enterprise sells and distributes Carrier, Bryant and Payne residential and light commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) products and supplies throughout the U.S., Latin America and Caribbean through 110 locations in 20 states and Puerto Rico.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Sales Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Sales Engineers and Managers with new accounts, existing accounts and introduction of new products.
- Support the Commercial Sales organization by providing technical support and selling products and services typically via the telephone or online orders.
- Seek new business opportunities by responding to routine sales leads from Sales Engineers, Sales Reps, or Sales Managers.
- Responsible for generating quotes for HVAC equipment sales within the assigned territory to engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners.

Requirements:
Education:
- AA/AS degree or BA/BS degree with 2-5+ years experience is highly preferred.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- 2-5 years of HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC is highly preferred.
- Must have critical thinking skills and understand the technical aspect of the equipment/services; Will answer technical questions on calls with customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- STEM backgrounds are a huge plus.
- An Engineering degree is a huge plus.
- Ability to work onsite during training period before moving into a hybrid environment.
This role pays a base salary plus commission.
