Key tasks
- Personal care: Assisting with activities of daily living, such as eating, dressing, grooming, showering, toileting, and communicating
- Housekeeping: Cleaning, cooking, laundry, making beds, and tidying rooms
- Transportation: Providing transportation for clients, such as to medical appointments
- Mobility support: Helping clients move around safely
- Emotional support: Providing companionship and advice, and promoting healthy lifestyle habits
- Other duties: Monitoring medications, physical therapy exercises, shopping, and emergency medical care
Needs to be certified in PCA or HHA. Preferably have experience in home & community care, patient care, and senior care. Able to communicate effectively with elderly patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Per diem
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
