Posi-on Overview:
The positions are in support of the GCE Water Business Line and entails individual and project team assignments. The positions entail complex analysis, hydraulic computations and modeling, agricultural infrastructure design, civil engineering, client interface, GIS development, SCADA design support, and general project management.
An understanding or water districts, agricultural practice, and water resources in the desert southwest is beneficial.
Engineering work include, but not limited to, data analysis, solving technical problems, preparing reports, construction plans, quantity calculations, cost estimates, and project design supervision.
Experience and Qualifica-ons:
Qualified Candidates Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Strong background in applied hydraulics and complex detailed design
- Experience in overall project delivery including lands, permi]ng, stakeholder coordination, planning, design and construction oversight
- Demonstrated ability to express technical complex informa9on in writing, orally and in engineering drawings
- 3 – 5 years experience of responsible charge as a hands-on designer, project design engineer
- Agricultural/ Water Resources or Civil Engineering Bachelor’s degree
- Arizona P.E. or California P.E., or the ability to receive reciprocity within 6 months
- Hands-on design experience
- Ability to coordinate and maintain positive working relationship with clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
