Salary: $125,000 to $150,000 per year

Position Overview:
The Director of Corporate Development and Financial Analysis will play a pivotal role in managing capital allocation, financial planning, and strategic growth initiatives. This hybrid role combines elements of Corporate Development, Financial Controlling, and Business Analysis, making it ideal for a versatile and analytical professional.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Assist the CEO in developing and executing corporate strategies and growth initiatives.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling to support decision-making.
- Capital Allocation: Analyze and evaluate capital allocation decisions to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, perform due diligence, and assist in deal execution.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Subsidiary Oversight: Provide oversight on subsidiary financial reporting, including P&L, budget preparation and oversight, and QuickBooks coordination with Corporate.
- Budget Development: Assist the CEO in developing budgets at the subsidiary and corporate levels.
- Reporting and Presentations: Create flash reports and board presentations on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Board of Directors and Executive Team.
- Federated Model Coordination: Oversee existing financial managers at the line level, who will report on a dotted line to this role.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in corporate development, financial analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and corporate finance.
- Experience with M&A processes, including valuation, due diligence, and integration.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, financial databases, QuickBooks, and ERP systems.
