Title: IC&E Technician
Location: Notre Dame, IN
Pay: $35-$45/Hour – up to 10% Bonus – Relocation Assistance, 401k, PTO
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Description:
- Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles, statutory codes, properties of materials and principles.
- Troubleshoot issues through PLC communication
- Services electronic equipment by checking, testing, and replacing faulty components, circuits, printed circuit boards and similar electronic devices.
- Notifies supervisor of potentially dangerous electrical equipment noted and corrective action taken.
- Adheres to housekeeping and safety standards, including the required use of personal protective equipment.
- All other duties as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
- Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
- Analyzes circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair or service electronic devices and systems.
- References wiring diagrams, specifications and instructions from supervisor and site documentation covering emergency and scheduled repairs, installation, and electrical inspection work to be performed.
- High degree of attention required to prevent injury to self and others.
- Ability to work all shifts, flexible hours, and mandatory overtime.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work without constant supervision.
- Able to read schematics and P&ID’s
- Ability to read and interpret ladder logic for PLC as well as relay logic
- Familiar with AC/DC power and PLC experience preferred.
- Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing and able to comply with all safety laws, polices, and rules.
- Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance as determined by company.
- Must be regularly available to work at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Must be available and willing to work such overtime as is necessary or desirable to meet business needs.
- Must be able to stand, bend and stoop.
