**Medical Assistant** (Certification Preferred and may include pay increase)
**Overview:**
The Right Mind Psychiatric Services is expanding and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with patients seeking treatment for mental health conditions, and be comfortable working the front desk as well as assist the provider with treatments performed in our office.

**Responsibilities:**
- Assist with coding and documentation of patient medical records.
- Coordinate patient visits and manage the provider's calander.
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations.
- Utilize medication knowledge with psychiatric medications.
- Work efficiently in a private practice setting with multiple providers.
- Manage electronic health record systems accurately.
- Assist patients recieving treatment in office by monitoring vital signs and patient progress.
**Experience:**
- Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Proficiency scheduling and collecting co-payments.
- Experience with psychiatry preferred.
- Familiarity with the more basic mental health medications.
- Basic life support certification is a plus.
- General understanding of privacy laws and the importance for mental healthcare.
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of providers and patients.
- Proficient in electronic health record systems management.
- Prior experience in monitoring vital signs and patient care.

Pay: $23.76 - $25.30 per hour
