Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of nursing staff, including registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nursing assistants
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in delivering patient care
- Monitor patient progress and ensure that care plans are being followed
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs and address any concerns or issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with training and orientation of new nursing staff members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and standards
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- Valid nursing license in the state of Maryland
-- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in [ICU, assisted living]
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
