POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Controls Engineer oversees complex control system projects and ensures their integrity and success. They drive innovation, mentor teams, and play a pivotal role in strategic planning and project execution within the control engineering domain.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

2. Lead complex control system projects from inception to deployment.
3. Develop innovative solutions, methodologies, and system standards.
4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
5. Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals, deadlines, and budgets.
6. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems into products.
7. Mentor and guide engineers, fostering their professional growth.
8. Demonstrate regular attendance and timeliness in reporting to work, meetings, and completing assignments.
9. Ability to work and interact well with others.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Identify inefficiencies in control system development processes and propose and implement improvements for enhanced productivity and quality.
2. Engage with clients or external stakeholders, understand their needs, and provide technical insights or solutions.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Controls engineering is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of applicable engineering experience or equivalent, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Required Skills
· Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
· Knowledge of ACAD Electrical.
· Good written and oral communications.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to develop plans, make timely decisions, and set priorities withsense of urgency.
· Ability to read equipment wiring schematics and create input/output lists from schematics.
· Familiarity with UL508A, NFPA 79, NEC, and IEC codes and standards.
Preferred Skills
· Extensive experience in control system design and project leadership.
· Profound expertise in control system software, analysis, and industry standards.
· Proven leadership, strategic planning, and junior development.
· Extensive knowledge of best safety practices for handling various voltages/currents.
· Experience in equipment or large-scale automation projects using Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE etc.
SPECIAL DEMANDS
1. Ability to walk, stand and squat to examine and troubleshoot equipment.
2. Ability to handle basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
3. Willing to travel. (Up to 25%).
