Exceptional Children's Center (ECC) is a family owned private practice that has been proudly serving families in the NOVA/DC/MD area since 2005. Job description
Exceptional Children's Center is seeking an experienced full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about working with pediatric clients and enjoys working among a multidisciplinary team. Training and experience in treating pediatric feeding disorders, apraxia, literacy challenges, AAC, orofacial myofunctional disorders, and/or Floortime is preferred. Time for department meetings, joint department meetings, one-on-one meetings and documentation is built in to our schedules.
Responsibilities and Duties:
One-on-one treatment in clinic and via teletherapy
Co-treatments with Occupational Therapists
Interdisciplinary collaboration
Collaboration with families
Conducting initial evaluations and reevaluation
Establishing and implementing treatment goals
Report writing
Tracking progress, progress updates and review of goals
Requirements:
Current and Valid Virginia License to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
