Job Title: Chef / General Manager
Hours: Monday to Friday. Must be available to work some weekends.
Wage: $70 - $80K a year
Location: Phoenix, AZ.
Job Summary
As a Food For Thought Chef / General Manager, you will stay ahead of industry trends and bring creative inspiration to the café by utilizing outside resources such as social media and industry publications.
You will lead and manage a team, ensuring continuous client and customer satisfaction, as well as employee retention. You will work on developing career paths including training schedules and timeframes.
Responsibilities
- Measuring customer satisfaction levels through feedback and resolving any issues immediately.
- Maintain 100% compliance with the new menu and promo rollouts from chef’s committee.
- Acting as the liaison with the client to ensure expectations are met.
- Managing and maintaining all SOP and HACCP standards.
- Demonstrating financial expertise and accountability in managing Food, Labor and Direct costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Oversee all Front and Back of the House operations.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in Food Service Management.
- Financial expertise and accountability in managing Food, Labor and Direct costs against budgets and forecasts.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient computer skills and exceptional organizational skills.
- Must provide valid Food Service Manager Certificate and Food Allergen Certification.
