JOB TITLE: CSA Database Clerk
REPORTS TO: Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controller
FSLA: Full time; Non-Exempt Employee
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The CSA Database Clerk plays a critical role in managing the donation records and financial transactions of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas. This position is responsible for processing and managing Catholic Stewardship Campaign (CSA) pledges and payments, donor data entry, and general accounts receivable transactions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Database:
· Donor data entry of all incoming donations, gifts, and contact information into various systems.
· Maintain accurate donor database and donation records.
· Track and resolve outstanding payment issues.
· Provide customer service to donors and parishes.
· Identify and process adjustments.
· Prepare donor lists, campaign reports, and year-end tax correspondence to donors.
· Assist with month-end reconciliation.
Accounts Receivable:
· Generate and distribute invoices throughout the month.
· Code and post customer payments by recording checks, wires, and credit card transactions.
· Maintain accounts receivable files and records.
· Track and resolve outstanding payment issues.
· Identify and process adjustments.
· Assist with month-end closing.
Other Essential Responsibilities:
· Record bank transfers under the appropriate accounting systems sub ledger.
· Process cash receipts for second collections and/or other payments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
· Strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Prior experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
· High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (preferred).
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant financial software.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
· Familiarity with the mission and values of the Catholic faith (strongly preferred)
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The typical work scheduled will be from Monday to Friday, and between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but may shift to accommodate specific tasks or events in the evening.
