Position Overview:
The Associate Account Manager will co-manage our existing book of business and will work closely with the Senior Account Managers and CEO. As the company grows, the Associate Account Manager will be integral to caring for the foundational accounts we have built our business on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Renewal Management: Proactively manage policy renewals by leading the marketing efforts, negotiating terms, preparing proposals, and securing client approval.
- Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
- Market Research: Stay informed about carrier appetites and underwriting guidelines for commercial property carriers. Follow industry reports and guidance on market trends and emerging products.
- Policy Management: Review and analyze existing insurance policies to ensure accuracy and adequacy of coverage.
- Claims Assistance: Serve as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers during the claims process.
- Duties as Assigned: As a growing company, we often have special projects that we are tackling. We are looking for someone ready to jump in and help as needed.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed for property and casualty lines
- Previous experience in insurance agency office specifically in a client-facing role like account management or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in using Vertafore AMS360 and Microsoft Office Suite.
