Because of a recent internal promotion, we are looking for a passionate, energetic, experienced LPN with strong interpersonal skills to join and lead our Wellness Team. The ideal candidate for the Director of Nursing position will have expertise in the health and well being of seniors and be willing to take initiative in promoting wellness among the company's employees. The DON will be responsible for the initial and ongoing assessment of and care planning for, our Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, daily monitoring of their overall healthcare, and provide leadership and coaching to the QMAPs and Caregiving teams. $1000 sign on bonus after 90 days
Responsibilities:
- Design innovative wellness strategies for seniors aged 62 to 100+
- Direct the Health and Wellness team.
- Coordinate with local doctors offices, clinics and hospitals
- Organize monthly exercise and health education classes for residents.
- Maintain Health Charts for all residents.
- Complete Quality measurement tools monthly.
- Complete Care Plans and facilitate monthly care conferences
- Oversee Medication Administration Program and maintain Medication room and carts per State regulations
- Complete New hire wellness checks and TB tests
- Oversee COVID testing and vaccine clinics, ensuring all required State and County reporting is completed accurately and timely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
