District Manager
Description: The District Manager is responsible championing the Clever Bee Academy purpose in their territory which leads to the achievement of Clever Bee Academy’s business objectives (Quality, Growth, Team) in their defined geography. The District Manager provides direct leadership to the Academy
Directors with the expectations that Clever Bee Academy’s quality brand is consistently implemented across all locations.
Qualifications/Requirements: As a highly professional individual, you will be accountable for an area of assigned academies that meets the highest state credential requirements, incorporates Clever Bee Academy’s purpose, organizational goals, values and policies.

Financial/Quality Operations

Manages the assigned territory as a portfolio of business.

Sustaining licensing standards within the portfolios

Maintains a focus on customer acquisition and retention, using the established processes, tools, and resources provided.

Consistently monitors areas and academy level performance for trends, outliers, and best practices
-
Advising area business directors and academy directors on business and operational systems and improvements to help grow and become more profitable.

Oversees the Quality Rating Improvement System(QRIS) for their area to ensure Clever Bee Academy achieves and maintains the highest quality credentialing for all Academies in the state(s) they operate

Ensure that financial goals for region are met.

Develop location budgets that meet revenue and earnings targets.

Forecast trends and analyze variances to determine appropriate operational adjustments (labor, controllables, FTE’s).

Assure that locations provide accurate and timely financial reporting.

Monitor location tuition collection efforts to sustain a zero accounts receivable balance.

Ensure financial understanding at the location level that will link the budget and financial reports to operational activities.

Monitors and maintains area expenses to ensure alignment with budgeted expectations; controls and manages expenses to achieve budgeted profitability.
Process

Ensures adherence to all Clever Bee Academy policies, procedures and standardization efforts for all Academies within Area.

Coordinates with the other functional leaders within Clever Bee Academy to ensure alignment and integrated execution of the Clever Bee Academy operating plan in their area. Functional areas include but not limited to Education, Marketing, HR, Finance, Collections, Transportation, Food Services, and Facilities Management.

Drive the implementation of curriculum ensuring high quality student outcomes.

Anticipates future trends and opportunities to drive performance, integrating them into actionable plans.

Ensures consistent utilization and improvement of tools, resources, and processes to manage operations and optimize productivity within the guidelines provided.

Empowers team members to work within clearly established process boundaries and confronts outlier behavior with feedback and consequences.

Ensures area-wide compliance with all federal, state and local laws, regulations, and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures. Proactively looks for ways to mitigate risk.

Supports and interacts with academy management and staff by spending approximately 80% of time in academies.
Other Requirements:

This position includes the normal physical demands associated with work in an office environment, including lifting, bending and carrying.

This position includes the ability to travel independently throughout the Ohio region and to other regions where Clever Bee Academy facilities are located.

This position includes the ability to schedule work outside of the typical week, including nights and some weekends.

Minimum 30 Credits - Early Childhood Education
-
2-3 Years experience as a high performing multi-site leader of sales and/or service organization
-
Experience implementing QRIS to achieve highest quality credentialing in the centers they were responsible for

Experience in leading a Early Childhood Education and Childcare Center

Experience managing vision/purpose
