We are looking for a positive, well-rounded & customer focused Front Desk Office Associate for our Main Office. The right candidate will represent the company in a professional manner, answering the phone, directing callers and greeting folks as they enter the office.
Role Duties & Responsibilities:
- Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
- Welcoming and assisting guests, customers, and contractors.
- Directing visitors to the appropriate person or office.
- Offering customer support by answering queries, providing information, and ensuring follow-up and resolution.
- Organizing and maintaining both physical and digital records.
- Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, copying, and faxing.
- Preparing various correspondences and materials.
- Communicating effectively with various stakeholders while upholding confidentiality and representing J.A. Myers Homes.
- Gathering office supply requests from staff and organizing weekly deliveries for orders.
- Supporting other departments to complete various office tasks and aiding with administrative responsibilities.
Prerequisites for Success:
- 2+ years of experience in secretarial, office, or customer service roles.
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in written communication.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to address customer and subcontractor concerns.
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems is a plus!
- Aptitude for following instructions, using computer software, and familiarity with Microsoft 365 Applications.
