POSITION SUMMARY
As an A&D Sales Account Manager at Stone Boutique, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by building and nurturing relationships with architects and designers in the industry. You will be responsible for promoting our premium natural stone slabs and decorative tile lines to the A&D community, with a focus on increasing product specification and driving sales revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Client | Community Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact, understanding their needs, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Conduct product knowledge presentations, library updates, lunch & learns, and various events that can be scheduled at showroom location.
- Provide the design community with specification documents, budgetary pricing, and sample deliveries as necessary.
- Visit customers and job sites as needed to provide product support and technical expertise.
- Actively participate in local chapters of trade associations (ASID, IIDA, etc.) This includes after-hours participation.
- Maintain relationships with top subcontractors & fabricators in the market.
- Coordinate all marketing materials, including loose samples, binders, and brochures needed for the territory.
- Account Growth Strategy:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify opportunities for account growth, upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings to existing clients.
- Set and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Achieve or exceed all established sales goals monthly, quarterly, and annually.
Industry and Product Knowledge:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of the organization's products or services and how they address client needs.
- Provide design consultations and assist with product selections.
- Communication and Presentation:
- Effectively communicate and present proposals, solutions, and updates to clients.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals.
- Schedule and make presentations with supplier factory representatives when requested.
- Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contractual agreements with clients.
- Ensure contracts are accurately documented and executed.
- Provide material quotes to contractors/subs as necessary for all projects in progress.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze client data, market trends, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance and growth strategies.
- Keep records of all materials in customer libraries (Binders, samples, etc.).
- Document, track, and follow through all known project specifications from initial spec to order completion.
- Document and maintain project and sales activities in our company CRM system.
- Problem-Solving:
- Identify challenges or issues within client accounts and develop creative solutions to address them.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to meet client needs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Highly self-motivated and disciplined.
- Must be self-driven, organized, and detailed oriented.
- Natural Stone sales experience preferred.
- Demonstrate design skills and architectural knowledge.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related industry preferred.
- Sales experience in industry (architectural, design, or construction).
