We are looking for a talented Electrical Assembly Intern who will be able to apply coursework concepts to real-world situations working alongside professional, experienced colleagues while also gaining valuable experience working for a Global Manufacturing and Engineering Company. You will become part of the Engineering Team and will interact in various Engineering functions with our Engineers, Technicians, and Support Staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Review work activities with the Supervisor related to testing and programming tasks.
- Work with product specification sheets to support manual tasks in a service environment.
- Work with the Supervisor to review and learn about PC boards and modules checkout process.
- Support manual tasks using basic hand tools, screwdrivers, nut drivers, allen wrenches, etc. following Supervisor instructions.
- Use a Windows based computer system to access information, enter measurement data, store, and retrieve files from the network, etc.
- Assists with a variety of special projects as needed
- Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment
- All other related duties as assigned
- Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job

Qualifications:
- Officially enrolled in High School
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent analytical skill and critical thinking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to practice active listening and to hear people out.
- Ability to practice active listening to learn new skills within the industry, company, product or technical knowledge.
Physical Requirements:
- The position is located in a manufacturing environment and will involve hands-on work. Physical activity may include lifting (up to 50lbs.), bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, hand-eye coordination, and manual dexterity or sitting for long periods of time
- Ability to speak verbally, and read in English
- Ability to see with corrective lenses
- Ability to hear
- Ability to walk
- Ability to use a computer
